This is the hanging bridge we visited in Portugalete. It was still in progress so a little unnerving to see all the wires and construction equipment while I was hundreds of feet in the air, but it was a wonderful sightseeing experience!
We were at a port of the ocean so these are all from the top of the bridge.
After the bridge experience we headed to Bilbao to go to the Guggenheim. We ended up having 5 hours to walk around Bilbao and it was breathtakingly beautiful. It was really artsy, lots of huge sculptures, and we found a restaurant that served....... ROTISSERIE CHICKEN. It was a lifesaver. :)
This was my favorite building in Bilbao. It was built in the 1300's. :) Absolutely gorgeous!
we leave for Paris tomorrow at about noon,so my next update will be Monday! yay! :)
